The Scream (1966)

This Irish short film is very odd--like you are looking through the eyes of a madman--which is exactly what it's all about, actually. A young artist is totally obsessed with the work of Edvard Munch--and his work is strongly inspired by Much's most famous work, "The Scream".

Being new to this film technique, I was pulled into the vortex of possibilities that this could create. I assumed that the paint effects were created by computer, but later learned they had all been hand painted.
