Well, I'm watching this movie right now for the first time. It's average but it has its moments...
As as been said by others, this film is certainly derivative in the plotting department drawing most obviously on "Psycho", "The Silence Of The Lambs" and "Se7en", but isn't in the class of any of those chillers, despite its big-name cast. Angelina Jolie hardly seems credible as the "married to the job" FBI investigator brought on board by Canadian cops trying to track down a serial killer who mutilated his victims and then takes over their lives until his next attack.
I should explain- that i am sometimes called too picky when it comes to movies- i see small details- that if they seem unreal -i cast out the movie from my watch list. so here is the small detail that the writers should of researched a bit more- an FBI agent in Canada- hmm it does happen from time to time they go to other countries- but not in this manner- usually a base of operations is set up- even if only helping another government solve their crimes-and that is not often at all-very rare- i would think INTERPOL would be more involved.
Uma Angelina Jolie ainda muito nova mas já capaz de boa prestação. Uma história intrigante mas com demasiados ângulos de antecipação.
A run-of-the-mill serial killer movie with a predictable mystery. It tried TAKING LIVES by surprise with the plot, but failed miserably.
Another movie about a serial killer. Nothing wrong with that to me because i like that kind of stuff.
